Big news!

I just finished writing The Light in Death! It’s currently at 103,000 words, but I know as I edit, it should get longer. I need to add more depth. I feel like the end got a little rushed as well, because of my other goal. I need to have the first pass complete for Subscription Children before it goes to get edited in June. It’s going to get read for a editorial assessment by Alyssa Matesic. She’ll be the first person to actually read the whole thing. A little nerve wracking, but I don’t think my writing is terrible, so I have some confidence that she won’t absolutely hate it.

In other news, I reached out to an artist, to draw up a cover for Subscription Children. It’s the same one that did the cover for The Light in Death, so I have high hopes. He came back with an initial draft, which I gave him a lot a bunch of stuff to change. I’m uploading it below just to keep a log of how it progresses. We’ll see how it comes along.

I know its been two weeks since my last post, but it’s hard when I’ve been spending my time writing. Setting a new alarm to do it once a week will have to be how I handle creating the new habit. It must be done!
